A 1.5-hour guided walk through the native plants of the Central Coast — includes a copy of Medicinal Plants of Big Sur.* Join us for a slow, guided walk through the wild landscape of the coast, learning to identify and understand the native plants that have sustained life on this land for generations. This is a walk of observation, not harvest — we'll look, learn, and leave the plants where they grow. You'll come away knowing how to recognize key native species, their traditional and medicinal uses, and the seasonal rhythms of this landscape — plus a copy of *Medicinal Plants of Big Sur* to take home, so the walk stays with you long after you leave the trail. No foraging experience necessary — just curiosity and comfortable walking shoes. Sliding scale: $45-70/person, book included* (pay what feels right — $60 is a fair suggested rate) Limited to15 guests. Offered 1-2x monthly — every first Sunday of the month, from 10am -11:30pm and 12:30-2pm. Walks are based in Santa Cruz, with select dates hosted in Big Sur depending on interest — check the listing for each walk's location (season and plant dependent). Private walks available for groups of 2-4 — inquire for pricing. *Bring water, sun protection, a journal and pen, wear sturdy shoes, and come ready to slow down.
